Replacement Belt for Stencil Making Machine
The most common repair needed on 3M stencil making machines is the replacement of a worn or damaged belt. A 3M stencil making machine should work well when: (a) the light is working, and (b) the darkness adjustment properly controls the speed that a carrier sheet feeds through the machine. If those two things work, and your stencil making machine still does not make good stencils, replacing the belt will often rectify the problem. All 3M stencil making machines have either a 9” wide or 12” wide clear plastic belt. To identify what width of belt your 3M machine has, you must open the cover of the machine and measure the width of the existing belt. All belts are the same length. It is recommended that any repairs performed on 3M stencil making machines be undertaken by an individual with some general mechanical aptitude. Any repair can result in damage to the replacement belt or the machine. Eikon does not perform any repairs or installation of new parts on 3M stencil making machines.
