Death Art Show

The Northern Ink Xposure Tattoo convention in June 2011 will be the 13th incantation of Canada's longest running international tattoo convention. Death, the 13th Tarot card, is symbolic of the end, but also of a rebirth, a new beginning, or the natural cycle of life. To represent this theme we've chosen the iconic image of a traditional coffin, and we will have a select group of artists use this shape as inspiration to create a piece of artwork, in any medium they see fit, expressing their interpretation of Death. These one of a kind original art works will be on sale throughout the weekend. The art show will be open to the public free Friday to Sunday.

The art will be unveiled at the "Northern Ink Xposure" Tattoo Convention at the downtown Toronto Hilton, Governor General's Suite on June 16th, 2011, where it will remain on display throughout that weekend.

Participants include Kurt Wiscombe, Paul Booth, Filip & Mathieu Leu, Bob Tyrrell, Robert Hernandez,  Steve Moore, Carlos Rojas, Aaron Bell, Scott Bramble and lots more!
