IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT SHOW!

It's that time of year again! Our convention crew here at Eikon is gearing up to hit the road and support one of our favorite tattoo conventions - the Alberta Bound Tattoo & Arts Festival in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Eikon has been involved with this show for 7 years running, and it's top-notch! The roster of attending artists keeps getting better and this year is no exception! Here's just a taste of the awesome talent attending this year:

Dan Smith, Nikko Hurtado, Jime Litwalk, Bob Tyrrell, Larry Brogan, Nick Chaboya, Aaron Bell, Paul Jeffries, Jee Sayalero, Steve Moore, Uncle Tim, BJ Betts, Randy Howell, David Glantz, Safwan, Chad Koeplinger and so many more. If you're in the area, this show is a must!!!

This year, we're happy to be sponsoring the talented Mr. Evan Dowdell, out of Time Will Tell Tattoo in Burlington, Ontario.  With a film school background in classical animation, Evan has been tattooing for the last six years and enjoys all types of tattooing - specializing in large scale tattoos.  Eikon and Evan will be "joined at the hip", so-to-speak, as Evan will be tattooing all weekend, directly next to our booth.  Come by and watch him do his thing… (you might even get a sneak peek at something super-top-secret and brand-spankin' new from Eikon!)

We'll be around the show floor checking out all of the sights and sounds - feel free to stop by our booth to check out our gear, or just say hello!

SUPPORTING THE ARTISTS

Every year, Eikon hands out Convention Packs to the working artists to keep them supplied and working all weekend. If you're working the show, don't pack more than you need to - here's some of what we'll have ready for you when you show up to your booth:

  • Ink Caps
  • Drapes
  • Aprons
  • Bibs
  • Petrolatum
  • Stencil Stuff
  • Razors
  • Tongue Depressors
  • Tape & Bandage Retainers
  • Bandages
  • Grommets & Step Bushings
  • ...more!

We will also be providing free black nitrile gloves to artists working the show. In addition, we will be supplying all of the ink for the Central Ink Station. This year, we will have Eternal, Dermaglo and Silverback for the artists to use.

If you do happen to run out of various supplies in your Convention Packs (that'll mean you've been SUPER-busy!!), just stop by the booth and we'll hook you up!
