I’ll never forget the day I tried a Kwadron Soft Edge Mag. I was using mags from another brand (because they were cheaper) and I was given a Kwadron cartridge to try when I was tattooing this large grim reaper piece, and it blew my mind. I noticed the difference immediately, and I was hooked. Not only did I find my shading much more consistent and softer, but it was buttery smooth. Since then, I can’t use any other soft edge mags. I avoided tattooing animals because I was afraid the textures wouldn’t come out the way I’d like, but with these I feel confident when tattooing animals. I’ve even considered trying smaller portrait pieces.
