High Octane Tattooing

Over the years, the Eikon convention crew has attended 100s of conventions, but it’s not often they’ve attended a tattoo show/convention that brought what MTL Tattoo offered at the 2019 Tattoo Nouvelle Ere held on June 7-9, 2019 in Montreal’s booming Griffintown.

Top tattooers like @lukalajoie and his team, @jaymarceau and his acolytes, and so many (full list here) more attended this event, making this Montreal tattoo convention one worth remembering.

The Sights & Sounds

Early on Day 1, you could feel the excitement as the tattooers were arriving. We could see old customers, as well as out-of-country friends like @cheyennetattooequipement and many top local artists, starting off what would become the best of shows.

Tattoo Nouvelle Ere 2019 gave us exactly what tattooing is all about. Here are a few shots!!!

Paul Tougas painted live - what a multi-talented artist!  What is their to say about the outstanding trophy by Frederico Rodriguez? While talking to some tattoo friends, we saw a couple of our old power supplies - they last forever - and YES, we still service them if you need!

The entertainment was perfect, from #pepeInternicia dj talent to the late night band King Buffalo, and what a nice performance from Greg Laraigne to ease into our Sunday.

Shout Outs

What a venue! Thank you to Pascal Quesnel, Genevive and Will and all the crew that made that 2019 edition of Nouvelle Ere the best one yet. Thank you to all friends and tattoo families for passing by the Eikon Device booth to say 'hi', your support the world to us!!!!! A bientot!

That started an odyssey of research and development that has seen many advancements in tattoo equipment including four generations of Eikon meter/power supplies, the Tru-Spring Armature Bar system, Griffin Tubes, Hydra Needles, and Symbeos, Helix and Green Monster Machines.
