Recap from the Road: Toronto NIX 21, 2019

Sweet TO

One of the most anticipated tattoo conventions of the year was held at the Toronto Metro Centre May 31st to June 2, 2019 - and what a rush it was!

Celebrating it’s 21st Birthday, NIX had a little something for everyone, including an artist-designed deck of cards with matching prints, a personal DJ dropping beats thanks to artist @scootinkltd, and we saw our new Eikon gloves being put through their paces by nearly 500 artists from Canada, the US, and around the world.

As always the show also included seminars with top tattooers such as @stevebutchertattoos, @andreaafferni and @bobtyrrell, it was great to see so many artists take time out of their weekend to share tips, tricks and knowledge!  It was also cool to see a growing number of Ontario based shops drop their daily routine to join the party.

The Sights & Sounds

Ink was flowing, @scootinkltd ‘s Dj was rockin’ as our brand new Eikon gloves were being stained. This year NIX’s Damian printed limited edition card decks to mark the 21st edition of this Northern Exposure tattoo show legacy.

And since it can’t officially be called a tattoo show without a little adult entertainment, we must give a shout out to @venusstarr.

Shout Outs

Big thanks to @djmcgrath69 and the tattoos.com crew, who helped make it easy to get in and out of Jurassic Park during an unforgettable weekend in TO!  We are looking forward to the NIX Tattoo Show 2020.

And finally, thank you to all our friends and tattoo family members for passing by the Eikon Device booth to say hi, your continued support means a lot.

See you on the road!
