I bought this shortly after it came out. I ALSO owned the 1st one of it's kind when IT came out, and I can't remember when the Orange Display hit the shelves. In a nutshell, It's a great buy. A tough power box. My 420 was yanked from the top of my station (3 feet) on 2 seperate times. I prayed to the gods it would be ok. It WAS! The only thing I'd wished this device had added to it, at the time, is a strong magnet plate. I'm looking forward to checking out the new technology that's coming from the team. Thanks Guys ! Keep it Up !

Awsome power supply
I've tried other power supplies and always came back to EMS series (sold my first - EMS 200 series to a coworker - fully functional after 10+ years) never had an issue with EMS 400 (except once I needed a faceplate and Eikon was fantastic with customer service) Apprentice uses her now and I use this EMS 420.
My favorite because of color - easier on my eyes - still has all the stats (for coil machine building/tuning - huge plus) - timer - stopwatch - 4 presets - footswitch modes etc.
My only minor complaint is that the sticky foot sometimes isn't so sticky... but the shape allows me to place a barrier on top the foot so my entire countertop is still covered.
