Eikon’s Tru-Spring® Heavyweight Regular Length Armature Bar allows you to slow your machine down without increasing the point gap. High-lift Tru-Spring bars are best for all long stroke set-ups, and short stroke set-ups with high compression. The Tru-Spring Armature Bar system of spring mounting ensures consistency in spring angle of deflection and eliminates all spring bending. Makes changing to thicker or thinner springs quick and accurate. Maximizes spring performance and exerts exact front and back spring pressure on the contact points of the machine.

Eikon armature bars are precision machined from 1018 low-carbon steel, with a rust-resistant black oxide finish and come complete with #8-32 screws and washers installed.

Choosing the correct Armature Bar Weight:

• Light weight bar = highest speeds
• Medium weight bar = controls mid range speed
• Heavy weight bar = slower speeds

Choosing the correct Armature Bar length: To choose the correct length for your machine, measure from the front of the existing bar (not including the pin) to the center of the screw holding the back spring. If this measurement is 2 1/4 inch (57mm) or over, select the LONG bar. If the measurement is under 2 1/4 inch (57mm) then choose the REGULAR bar. Check to make sure that the needle bar is correctly aligned in the tube before taking the measurements.
